Create is a pottery painting and wool cafe.

Our aim is to provide a relaxed, child friendly environment in which to produce some beautiful pottery/craft items whilst enjoying a coffee and something to eat.

Pottery painting is fun, creative and interactive and can be enjoyed by both young and old. You simply choose a piece of unglazed pottery, paint it to your own design, then leave it behind for us to glaze and fire it ready for collection, or postage, a few days later.

You can also browse our large selection of wool, yarns and pattern books. We offer knitting surgeries, courses and 'knit and natter' sessions where you can enjoy a tea or coffee whilst knitting with friends in a relaxing and comfortable environment.

Create is situated in a lovely listed Victorian Arcade in the heart of Ilkley, a town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Ilkley is a short train or car ride from the centre of Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate or York. There is ample parking available within a few short steps and we are only a few minutes walk from the train station.
